Since 2010, Epic Chophouse in Mooresville, North Carolina has combined a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, unmatched service, exceptional value and exquisite food to create an upscale dining experience like no other in the Lake Norman area.

To create an outstanding dining experience, you must begin with the best ingredients. At Epic Chophouse, we take the quality of our food very seriously and do what it takes to ensure we maintain the high standards we ourselves appreciate. That’s why we serve certified beef that must meet specific quality standards. We have even visited vineyards around the world, from Argentina to Napa Valley, to ensure our wine cellar is as impeccable as our menu. We always give our best effort to deliver the highest-quality food for our guests.
CONTINUING TO MAKE HISTORY
One hundred years ago, you could have purchased a pair of men’s pants in our bar. Bags of feed and seed were piled in the kitchen area, and you could get a deal on some patent leather oxfords in the dining room. Our historic building was built in 1888 and was first home to the Rankin Store, where owner W.W. Rankin sold clothing, fabric, seed and almost everything else. The first electric elevator in Mooresville was even installed here. From the 1950s to the 1980s, this location was Morrow Brothers Furniture. We reclaimed the building’s prominence in the heart of town, opening Epic Chophouse in 2010.
